CT Scans

CT Scans These are also sophisticated 3D images of bone that allow your surgeon to assess bone quality and bone stock as well as deformity and fracture healing. They rely on radiation to capture the information and then use a computer to assimilate that information into accurate representations of your Bones.

I will explain why you require this investigation if one is ordered for you, and again you will have to book an appointment to have the study done. It takes with the modern scanners no longer than 10 minutes once the scan is started.

They will also be reported with the plain X-Rays by a specialized Musculoskeletal radiologist.
